We are currently seeking an experienced
Production Coordinator
to join our dynamic team in a permanent full-time role in Mount Maunganui, to oversee the end to end development and production of offshore styles across multiple categories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate all aspects of garment development for the styles you manage and collaborate with other team members to problem solve any issues that arise.
- Create new, detailed and accurate technical packs with clear specifications based on the direction from the design team.
- Collaborate directly with offshore manufacturers, particularly in regions such as China, ensuring clear communication and strong working relationships.
- Maintain and enforce quality standards throughout the pre-production and production phases, and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Complete timely, detailed fit and grading comments ensuring all key design and quality aspects meets company standards.
- Attend fit sessions as required and implement pattern adjustments as needed,
- Oversee quality control checks and troubleshoot any production issues.
- Track development timing is in alignment with delivery targets – ensure shipping and logistic deadlines are met.
- Digitise new onshore patterns to ensure accuracy and consistency.

To Succeed in this role, you will bring:
- At least 3 years in a garment technician or product development role within the apparel industry.
- Proficiency in reading and updating technical packs.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team across multiple product categories.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fitting, patterns, and production processes is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Confidence working in Adobe Suite to adjust technical drawings
- Is a happy person who works well in a fast-paced environment as a part of a team
- Experience in logistics
