We are currently recruiting to fill the part-time position of Night Porter. Hours of work will be from 10.30pm - 2.30am, with a minimum of 12 hours per week.

The successful candidate for this position will possess the following attributes:

  • Previous experience in a similar role with an awareness of the hotel environment
  • A passion for providing exceptional guest service
  • Be physically fit and able to lift heavy luggage
  • Excellent in a team environment with a high level of self motivation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A high standard of personal presentation and grooming

Duties will include:

  • To offer assistance to the Night Auditor
  • To provide security for the hotel by way of frequent nightly security checks
  • Attend to any late-night guest requests
  • To complete and deliver 24hr Room Service orders as required

Applicants must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand. You must be either a New Zealand Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a current and open work visa with at least 12 months until expiry.
