Why this role matters

Our Quality Control Team plays a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the required quality standards and regulatory guidelines. As Quality Control (QC) Scientist, you will be accountable for driving the scientific support for non-routine analytical testing activities.

What you'll do

  • Using your extensive analytical and organic chemistry skills combined with a strong understanding of pharmaceutical quality control principles and practices, you will provide support to teams with high quality analytical testing for process validations and resolving quality issues
  • Developing and validating Chromatography methods to GMP and ICH guidelines with specific focus on Gas Chromatography
  • Support quality investigations and changes in API or excipient suppler
  • Method development, verification / tech transfer and launch and supporting the project management team by providing high quality analytical testing for process validations
  • Periodic review of analytical method validations, PQR preparation and review, residual solvent assessments, elemental impurity assessments and nitrosamines assessments
  • Adhere to agreed project timelines and schedules for compliance activities to ensure customer, regulatory and quality expectations are met

What you'll bring

  • Qualified, experienced professional - a tertiary qualification in related field with a minimum of 3 years' experience in GMP / GLP environment with strong gas chromatography experience
  • Tech savvy - Competence with Microsoft packages Word, Excel and Project
  • Pharma industry background with solid experience in Gas Chromatography
  • A Communicator - you will have excellent verbal and written communication and comprehension skills as you complete GMP documentation.
  • A quality mindset - attention to detail is essential, this comes naturally to you.

You will work with a high degree of autonomy, under time constraints and meeting project deadlines.
