About The Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Data & Business Intelligence Analyst to play a critical role in developing high-quality data and visual analytics solutions. You will be the essential link between business users and technical teams, driving insight and efficiency across the product suite.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business end users and developers to deliver high quality data and visual analytics/reporting solutions
  • Act as the translator between business users and technical personnel
  • Lead discussions with business users to gather, interpret and document use cases, requirements and acceptance criteria using iterative/agile practices
  • Work with the Data Architects, Information Architects and Principal Advisors to ensure solutions fit into the wider data landscape
  • Consideration of the existing product landscape, to ensure ongoing consolidation and a fit for purpose, maintainable product suite.
  • Ensure alignment with data governance and data management principles across all analysis
  • Manage/coordinate user acceptance testing and support release of information products
  • Support testing as part of development activities, in conjunction with testing and business resources, as required

Skills & Experience

  • Strong SQL skills for data querying and analysis.
  • Proficient knowledge of ARC-GIS (or similar Geospatial Information Systems).
  • Proficient in analytical tools such as Power BI and/or Qlik Sense
  • Demonstrated experience in a Business Analyst or similar role focused on Data and BI solutions.
  • Knowledge of government, and related infrastructure/assets or processes would be beneficial.
