Marine Electrician

We are seeking an experienced Marine Electricians/fitters  to join a World class builder of award winning Yachts in the luxury Marine Industry based in New Zealand. We are continually expanding our team to meet demands of a growing portfolio of projects.

Your Role:

You'll be working across a variety of electrical systems on marine vessels and super yachts including installation, maintenance, and fault finding on AC/DC circuits, battery systems, anchor winches, and general onboard electrics, solar and everything from wiring and lighting, navigation systems, engines and communication equipment.

Your Requirements will include:

• Proven marine electrical experience (boats, yachts, or vessels)
• Strong understanding of AC/DC systems, lighting, pumps, and auxiliary systems
• Experience with navigation and communication brands such as Simrad, Garmin, Lowrance, or Raymarine 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

What you will need:

•  3 years post trade experience
• Hold an Electrician or Electrical Fitter Qualification
• Work Safely at Heights Certificate
• Confined Spaces Certificate
