At Seipp Construction, we take pride in shaping infrastructure that matters - from formwork and bridges to concrete and structural steel. We're on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Structures Leading Hand to support our Auckland team, working closely with our Supervisors and Foremen to deliver top-quality civil infrastructure projects.

About the Role

As a Structures Leading Hand, you'll play a key part in the day-to-day delivery of works on-site. You'll help plan tasks, support work crew performance, and ensure jobs are carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong formwork and concrete experience who's ready to take the next step in people leadership.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with task planning and preparation of work plans
  • Ensure safe and smooth site operations, including equipment oversight
  • Support a high-performing crew by leading from the front
  • Participate in site health, safety, and environmental responsibilities
  • Contribute to toolbox talks, incident closeouts, and JSEA processes
  • Communicate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and suppliers

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years' experience in civil construction, particularly structures
  • Proven skills in formwork, carpentry, bridges, concrete and steel works
  • Experience leading or mentoring small crews
  • Strong planning, communication, and teamwork skills
  • A relevant trade qualification
  • Commitment to health, safety, quality, and Seipp's values
