Anvil Engineers, based in Oamaru, is looking for a motivated and reliable Fabricator / Welder to join our small but busy team.

We offer a friendly work environment, varied tasks, and the chance to grow your skills across a wide range of engineering work.

What We're Looking For

We need someone who is practical, positive, and ready to get stuck in.

The ideal applicant will have:

• MIG, TIG & ARC welding skills
• Welding certification (advantageous but not essential)
• Experience with stainless steel and alloy welding
• Forklift licence (desirable)
• Clean, full driver's licence (essential)
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand
• Good level of physical fitness
• Strong communication and customer-service skills

About the Role

You'll be involved in a variety of General Engineering tasks including:

• Repairs and maintenance
• Welding and fabrication
• Machining
• On-site and workshop-based work

No two days are the same - variety is guaranteed

This is a full time Monday - Friday role with flexible start/finish times available for the right applicant.
