Cybersecurity Monitoring Analyst

Company and role:
My client is looking to grow its high-performing security team. They are looking for a cybersecurity monitoring analyst to join their team on a permanent basis.
Duties for the role include, but are not limited to:
- Malware detection - Triage and escalation of incidents - Creation of reports analysing trends - Working closely with other security teams to ensure the sharing of information - Ad-hoc duties
The ideal candidate will have a background in the following:- Experience in a similar role required
- Knowledge of Splunk required
- A general understanding of other detection tools highly advantageous
- Strong analytical and research skills required
- A relevant tertiary qualification considered advantageous
NB:The candidate must already have the right to work in New Zealand. NB:This position may require occasional travel. NB:This position is on an on-call roster. NB:A clean driver's licence would be an advantage.
