The Role: What Will You Do?
We are currently seeking a
Mechanical Engineer
with a passion for project delivery to join our Auckland Water team.

In this role, you will focus on project delivery, coordinating and contributing to the design of various projects, including large municipal wastewater and water treatment plants, commercial onsite treatment systems, community treatment plants, and industrial trade waste treatment systems.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will assist in managing and coordinating the preparation of concept and detailed designs for work packages. Your responsibilities will include developing and delivering these packages while working closely with Senior Engineers and technical leaders. Your deliverables will include technical and commercial specifications, drawings, and schedules on a range of projects.

About You

• A passion for coordinating and supporting others and delivering high-quality water and wastewater treatment projects for our communities.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and guide key stakeholders.
• Experience in delivering water, wastewater, and industrial treatment projects, with expertise in mechanical engineering for both new and existing treatment plants, pump stations, chemical systems, and other mechanical installations.
• A degree in mechanical engineering and Chartered Engineering status (or progress towards it)
