We're looking for a reliable and hard-working Kitchen Assistant & Cleaner to help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist chefs with basic food preparation
  • Wash dishes, pots, and kitchen equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and food prep areas
  • Perform general cleaning duties (floors, bins, surfaces, etc.)
  • Ensure hygiene and safety standards are met at all times

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends and public holidays
  • Desire to be apart of a Kaupapa Māori Organisation
  • Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in all aspects of service.
