A long-established South Island consultancy is looking for an experienced Licensed Cadastral Surveyor to join their Hokitika team. They're equally open to a strong intermediate surveyor who is progressing well toward licensing and wants the right environment to finish it.

This is a rare chance to learn from and work closely with one of the country's most respected survey leaders, supported by a wider South Island network known for its depth of technical capability.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering a broad range of surveys including cadastral (urban and rural), topographical, UAV, laser scanning and land development projects
• Working alongside surveyors, planners and engineers across multiple offices
• Taking ownership of projects with structured support and genuine mentoring
• Building your LCS capability — or using your existing licence to mentor others

About you

• Licensed Cadastral Surveyor or a Graduate Surveyor close to LCS
• Strong portfolio and competencies for the licensing pathway (if applicable)
• Confident with modern equipment and workflows; experience with 12d Model is an advantage (training provided)
• Clear communicator with sound judgement and a practical, solutions-focused mindset
