About the Role
We are looking for a unicorn electrician who enjoys variety, challenge and real technical growth.
This position works across Fuel, EV and Technology, supporting the infrastructure that keeps New Zealand moving every day.

You will install, commission, service and maintain a wide range of systems from fuel equipment and EV chargers to payment and network technology. One week you might be fault finding on a forecourt controller and the next you are installing a DC fast charger or upgrading connected site technology.

You will work inside a high performing technical team that is building the future of New Zealand's mobility and energy network.

You will

• Install, maintain and service electrical, fuel and technology systems

• Commission and fault find EV charging infrastructure and forecourt controls

• Work on Point of Sale, Back Office Systems and connected site technologies

• Deliver safe, high quality technical work

• Collaborate with project managers, civil teams and other ECL divisions

• Travel across the South Island with all expenses covered

About You

• Registered Electrician with a current NZ practising licence

• Enjoy solving technical problems and learning new systems across mechanical, electrical and digital technology

• Ten years of hands on electrical experience

• Electrical Hazardous Area endorsement

• Strong understanding of electrical systems and an interest in upskilling in EV and technology

• Confident with networks, low voltage cabling or POS and BOS systems

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Committed to safe work

• Full NZ drivers licence

• Flexible and comfortable with travel
