We are looking for three experienced CNC machinist, trade qualified (an advantage) to join our Lower Hutt based workshop.

Key Responsibilities
· Operate CNC machines to produce high-quality precision components
· Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
· Set up, program, and operate CNC equipment safely and efficiently
· Perform quality control checks and measurements to ensure products meet specifications
· Maintain accurate production records and documentation
· Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes
· Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment
· Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
· Checking and co-signing off the work of other staff members
About the role
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist (5-axis and/or mill-turn experience preferred).
Ability to work independently.
- Have a focus on quality and improvement.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and G-code programming. The ability to program offline in CAD/CAM software will be an advantage.
- Able to meet production and quality targets with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- A willingness to grow your skills and knowledge.
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- 3+ years' experience with programming and operating CNC Mills or Lathes.
- Trade qualified (preferred)
- Experience with Robot automation.
Benefits
We have a modern well equipped machine shop with the latest in CNC technology and tooling, with a new 5 axis + Robot arriving in June. Extra hours are available regularly, dependent on workload.

Wage $35-$45 per hour (subject to experience and qualification).
Minimum 40 hour per week, Monday – Friday. Additional hours are available subject to workload.
