These roles involve coordinating and processing all project information within K inga Ora's project management system. The position ensures efficient administrative workflows, maintains accurate project reporting and data management within Plato.
As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will play a critical part in ensuring the seamless delivery of housing projects. You will manage key project information in our systems, ensure data accuracy, and support the end-to-end administrative workflow. You will be responsible for complex, multifaceted streams within the programme, to be able to manage the needs, expectations, and at times competing priorities, of a wide variety of stakeholders. This will include supporting in administrative tasks, business change initiatives, tracking and reporting of project and programme parameters, quality assurance and risk and resource management on projects.
These roles are part of a highly focused team that work together in the office during set hours Monday to Friday.

Ng pumanawatanga ou - What you will bring
This position is ideally suited to a programme/project coordinator with a broad base of experience gained in complex environments, and an interest in or desire to learn about housing delivery system. This is well suited for someone who excels in structured environments, enjoys working collaboratively, and has a knack for solving problems.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate in particular:
- Meets the skills and attributes required to work in an Agile open team-based environment (refer to skills and attributes section in the position description).
- At least 2 years' experience in project coordination or a similar role with demonstrated capability using project management and reporting tools, experience with Plato a distinct advantage.
- Sound basic understanding of residential housing construction process, and ability to interpret building/development plans and capture key relevant information from meetings.
- Works in a structured, well organised way to deliver results- demonstrated ability to prioritise demands, organise, meet deadlines and deliver desired results by taking ownership and using effective self and time management approaches.
- The ability to handle large volumes of information, and capture, analyse and report on information with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Digital savvy and experienced in Oracle, IDP, housing delivery system
- The ability and desire to collaborate and work well in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Demonstrated ability to clearly and concisely convey information and ideas
- Demonstrated numeracy skill with a minimum intermediate level excel
- A proactive approach and an inquisitive nature, with strong relationship management skills
- Excellent prioritisation and time management skills required.
