Reporting to the GM – Merchandise, this brand-new role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to really make a difference for our business and customers. You will manage end-to-end tender processes, identify import opportunities, and enable cost savings, delivering solutions that are fit for purpose, strategically sound and sustainable.

About the Role

  • Own & manage tender/RFP processes
  • Work collaboratively with category teams
  • Analyse market intelligence to identify commercial opportunities
  • Source product & supplier options both locally and internationally
  • Work on House Brand sourcing strategies, optimising the House Brand range
  • Build strong relationships both internally & externally

About You

  • Excellent communication, negotiation & stakeholder management skills
  • Expertise in managing successful tender processes, especially for direct products
  • Strong problem solving & analytical skills
  • Strategic sourcing experience, both local & international
  • Proven track record in achieving targets
  • Integrity, determination & respect for commercial realities
