Clinical Coordinator - Neurodevelopmental Pathway (Leadership Role) - Kari Centre Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (iCAMHS)

Full Time | Permanent | Greenlane Clinical Centre

The Kari Centre is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to lead our Neurodevelopmental Team, a dedicated group responsible for assessments of neurodevelopmental conditions, specifically ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder, for children and young people across central Auckland.

This is a meaningful leadership role that combines clinical expertise, team support, and service development and is ideal for a clinician who enjoys bringing people together and shaping how care is delivered.

About the Role

As Clinical Coordinator, you will provide leadership and clinical oversight to a skilled multidisciplinary team completing neurodevelopmental assessments. You will also undertake some clinical duties. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality, timely, and culturally responsive assessment pathways for tamariki, rangatahi, and their whānau.

You will:

  • Offer clinical guidance and consultation to clinicians completing neurodevelopmental assessments
  • Support reflective thinking and formulation, particularly in complex presentations
  • Ensure assessment processes are smooth, coordinated, and aligned to evidence-based practice
  • Foster a positive, collaborative team environment
  • Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
  • Work closely with the Clinical Team Leader, Lead Clinician, and wider leadership team

About You

Are motivated to develop leadership skills within a supportive service

Experience in iCAMHS or the CAPA model is helpful but not essential.

Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be NZ-registered with a current APC (Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing, or Child Psychotherapy)
  • Hold a full, clean NZ driver licence
