Permanent | Open Cut & Underground Coal Mines | 4/3 or 7/7 Rosters

Due to newly awarded contracts, Nepean Belting is expanding and looking for skilled Belt Splicers from New Zealand ready to relocate to Mackay, Queensland If you want top pay, career growth, and permanent site-based work, this is your chance.

• Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for the right candidate OR negotiable relocation allowance for the right candidate
• Permanent, site-based work with roster flexibility (4/3 or 7/7)
• Industry-leading rates across open cut and underground coal sites

• Accomodation when on roster

Your Role:

• Inspect, maintain & repair conveyor belts underground & on open cut sites
• Apply lagging, strip lagging, poly grooving & belt splicing techniques
• Troubleshoot conveyor issues and provide technical input
• Maintain clean, safe work areas – safety is priority #1
• Work as part of a high-performing, supportive team

Preferred Certificates / Tickets:

• Polyurethane (Poly) Belt Splicing Certificate (not essential)
• Working at Heights / Elevated Work Platform / Rigging tickets (not essential)

About You:

• Experienced in belt splicing, minimum 3 years experience as a Splicer
• Reliable, safety-focused, and ready for site-based work
• Ability to pass a police clearance check
• Ability to pass a functional medical
• Open to relocation and excited to live in Mackay, QLD
