About the Role

We're seeking a Maintenance Technician to support facility operations with various maintenance tasks. This temporary position involves hands-on work in carpentry, painting, concreting, and other trades, collaborating closely with a dedicated team to ensure a safe and welcoming space for visitors and the community.

• Western Springs location
• $28.95 per hour + 8% holiday pay
• 7am - 3:30pm
• Requirements:
• You must pass a drug and alcohol screen with a clear result.
• You must hold a full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks across the site
• Assist with carpentry, painting, and general decorating projects
• Provide support for hard landscaping, fencing, and decking activities
• Adhere to all safety protocols and follow team instructions
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and hazard-free

• Some practical experience with tools and maintenance tasks
• Creative thinker with problem-solving skills
• Excellent team player with good communication abilities
• Reliable, punctual, and ready to work daily

• Possesses a current driver's license and excellent customer service skills
