Job Description:

Extrastaff, a Labour Hire Company, is hiring full-time Aluminum Fabricators to support project work throughout New Zealand. You will work on various construction and fabrication sites, with site location based on project demand. This role is ideal for experienced fabricators who are open to relocating or traveling as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate, assemble, and install aluminum components and structures

  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints

  • Operate hand and power tools relevant to aluminum fabrication

  • Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and quality standards

  • Work across different sites as required by project deployment

Skills and Experience Required:

  • 2 years experience in aluminum fabrication or relevant role

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

  • Skilled in welding, cutting, and shaping aluminum materials

  • Trade qualification or NZQA-recognised experience preferred

  • Ability to work independently and travel between job sites

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Nationwide Opportunity and Travel:

Although this role is listed in Waikato, we are recruiting for positions to be deployed across all regions of New Zealand, depending on project requirements.For for clarification, these regions are 

North Island: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Manawatū-Whanganui, Wellington.

South Island: Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, Southland.
