Learning Assistant

Commencing: Start of Term 1, Tuesday 27th January 2026

Ormiston Junior College is seeking a Learning Assistant to support learners with additional or specific education needs (including multilingual learners) and their Learning Coaches (teachers) in a rapidly growing school and inclusive learning team.

Duties will include providing assistance to ELL/SEN learners and their Learning Coaches (teachers) and some administrative follow up.  We would welcome applicants who would be interested in learning and training in this area.

The ideal candidates will have some school experience. Aligned values, empathy and understanding of our unique learning context with the ability to relate to Year 7-10 learners with diverse needs is essential.

Police Vetting is required under the Vulnerable Children Act 2015.
