Part-time Xero Implementation Accountant

My client is needing an experienced finance professional to support their national organisation in this new, part-time contract role which involves setting up financial systems in Xero, coordinating year-end financial reporting across the institutes, and advising on future finance function needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and manage their Xero chart of accounts.
- Develop processes to collect, track, and reconcile financial data from regional groups.
- Prepare annual accounts and liaise with the organisation's auditor and accountant.
- Ensure timely completion and sign-off of audit and reporting requirements.
- Provide recommendations on a potential ongoing internal finance role.
About You:
You'll bring strong accounting or financial management experience (ideally with charities or member-based organisations), proficiency in Xero, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and flexibly.
Hours:
Part-time, flexible - averaging around 6-25 hours per week between November 2025 and May 2026 (variable by month).
