Hiringa Oranga O Awarua Limited - Awarua Whānau Services is seeking a capable and strategic Business Services Manager to join our senior leadership team. This role is central to ensuring the smooth and effective operation of our organisation's daily activities and long-term sustainability.

As Business Services Manager, you will:

  • Support seamless collaboration across teams and oversee core administrative functions including finance, payroll, HR, IT, Health and Safety, marketing and communications.
  • Manage resources to enhance organisational productivity and efficiency.
  • Lead the development and delivery of robust business systems and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide strategic direction and operational leadership across all business support functions.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Has proven experience in business development, strategic planning, or operational leadership.
  • Financial literacy and proficiency in budgeting and reporting; with a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • Strong understanding of kaupapa Māori frameworks, tikanga, and te reo Māori.
  • Experience in health, social services, or community development and familiarity with government funding and contract management.
  • Demonstrates strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Is committed to kaupapa Māori values and responsive to the aspirations of whānau, hapū, and iwi.
  • Can build and maintain respectful relationships with individuals, whānau, key partners, and the community.
