About the Role

As our Warehouse Team Leader, you'll be the key driver behind the smooth and efficient running of our Christchurch warehouse. Supervising a small team of one, you'll ensure daily operations are well-organised, accurate, and completed to a high standard.

This is a Monday–Friday, 8.00am–4.30pm position, no nights or weekends, offering great work-life balance.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating warehouse activities to ensure efficient workflow
  • Supervising one team member and providing clear direction
  • Stock rotation, accurate picking and packing of orders
  • Receiving, handling, and dispatching goods, including loading and unloading trucks
  • Forklift operation
  • Maintaining organised records and ensuring all documentation is accurate
  • Ensuring the warehouse remains neat, clean, safe, and compliant
  • Managing inwards and outwards goods
  • Regular lifting of heavy batteries
  • Opportunity to make deliveries (Class 2) in the afternoons when required
  • Providing cover for our VSR when they are away

About You

You'll bring a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the confidence to run an organised and efficient warehouse. You'll also be someone who steps up proactively and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Previous warehouse experience (stock control, dispatch, coordination)
  • A current Forklift Licence
  • Ability to obtain Dangerous Goods (DG) endorsement
  • Class 2 licence (advantageous) or willingness to obtain
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
  • Excellent Health & Safety awareness
  • Reliability, honesty, and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to perform regular heavy lifting
  • A team-focused approach and effective communication skills
