He kupu mō mātou | About us

Our Pahiatua site specialises in producing whole milk powder that is exported to markets around the work. Over a season, more than 600 million litres of milk and processed into whole milk powder by our three powder plants.

Our Longburn site specialises in supplying or other Fonterra sites with raw milk, reverse osmosis retentate. The raw milk and retentate are used to produce milk powders and cheese.

Mō tēnei tūranga | About the Opportunity

Join us at our Pahiatua site as a Maintenance Planner and play a key role in keeping our operations across our Pahiatua and Longburn sites running smoothly and efficiently.

This is your chance to make a real impact by improving reliability, reducing costs and supporting proactive maintenance strategies.

In this role you will:

• Plan and schedule day-to-day maintenance and compliance tasks for our team and contractors.
• Develop and update maintenance plans and strategies.
• Maintain an accurate asset register in SAP and ensure CMMS master data is up to date.
• Plan and coordinate site shutdowns for seamless execution.
• Drive cost and efficiency improvements through smart planning.

This is a full-time, on-site, day shift role as part of our dedicated maintenance team with two day shift roster options.

You're a problem-solver with a passion for planning and maintenance. You thrive on collaboration, have excellent communication skills, and enjoy finding practical solutions that make a difference.

You will bring:

• Experience with CMMS systems and SAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Project).
• Solid background in manufacturing and maintenance environments.
• Strong understanding of maintenance and production processes.
• Proven ability in data management and planning systems.
• Calm under pressure, able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Self-starter with the ability to influence and work collaboratively.
• Ownership of what you are working on.
• Flexible and willing to support the wider team
