Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced
Senior ForgeRock Developer
to design, develop, and implement robust identity and access management (IAM) solutions using the
ForgeRock Identity Platform
. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise across ForgeRock components (AM, IDM, DS, IG), strong hands-on programming skills (Java, Groovy, JavaScript), and the ability to build scalable, secure, and automated identity services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement IAM solutions using ForgeRock AM, IDM, DS, and IG components.
  • Develop and configure authentication and authorization modules, workflows, and custom scripts.
  • Build and maintain
    Access Manager (AM)
    authentication trees, modules, and nodes.
  • Integrate ForgeRock solutions with enterprise systems, applications, APIs, and third-party services.
  • Develop
    custom REST APIs
    , Groovy scripts, and JavaScript-based connectors.
  • Work with teams to onboard applications, define access policies, and manage service identities.
  • Support deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting in
    Dev, Test, and Production
    environments.
  • Implement SSO, OAuth 2.0, SAML, OpenID Connect, and federation integrations.
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and security assessments.
  • Provide technical documentation, and mentor junior IAM developers when needed.

Technical Skills and Experience:

Must Have:

  • 5+ years of
    ForgeRock development
    experience (AM, IDM, DS, IG).
  • Strong experience in
    Java, Groovy, and JavaScript
    development.
  • Proven hands-on experience with
    Access Manager (AM)
    authentication trees, nodes, and modules.
  • Expertise in
    OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0
    , and federation standards.
  • Experience with
    custom API development
    and
    ForgeRock REST interfaces
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    identity lifecycle management
    ,
    user provisioning
    , and
    entitlement management
    .
  • Experience with
    Linux/Unix environments
    and
    CI/CD automation
    for IAM deployments.
  • Familiarity with
    directory services (DS/LDAP)
    and
    JSON-based configurations
    .

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to
    DevOps tools
    (Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Terraform).
  • Experience with
    cloud environments
    (Azure AD, AWS IAM, or GCP IAM).
  • Knowledge of
    containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
    .
  • Understanding of
    Zero Trust
    and
    Modern Authentication
    principles.
