Security Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated Security Supervisor/ Assistant Supervisor to join our Auckland team.

Working with our existing team you will be responsible for:

  • Being an integral part of the Cityguard Leadership Team and providing day to day operations and staff feedback.
  • Leading and supporting security officers while ensuring high professional standards, customer service excellence, and compliance with operational procedures.
  • Supervising and manage 100 +/- on-duty security patrols and static staff
  • Respond promptly to coordination of service requests, resolve issues effectively and in a timely manner
  • Report incidents and maintain accurate records utilising company software and systems
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols and company policies
  • Operate security systems and company vehicles safely
  • Support patrol teams and maintain asset control
  • Provide guidance, training and development to security staff
  • Identify opportunities to improve security operations
  • Maintain professional communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordination of response to incidents, events and emergencies as and when they arise and ensuring required processes and communication is followed

To be successful in this role you will require:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in security or similar industries.
  • Solid supervisory and leadership experience
  • Certificate of Approval (ability to obtain)
  • Full clean NZ Driver's License
  • The ability to communicate and work with our clients, stakeholders and all levels of Cityguard staff.
  • Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and communication skills
  • Reliable, professional, able to work independently and handle the pressure
  • Familiarity with Auckland's geography and security systems

This role is a rotating roster working mid-shifts and nights. The successful candidate must be prepared to be flexible in acknowledgement of the company being 24 hours, 7 days a week operations.
