ACM Motorhomes is a leading repair and custom design motorhome / caravan company located in the Airport Oaks of Auckland and is looking for a new member to be added to our valued team. We specialise in new builds, new fitouts, repairs for both the private market and the leading rental brands, and accessory installation.

This is an opportunity to grow within the role. The ideal candidate will own their role, finding ways to better current processes and thinking outside the box. You will receive full training for the role, there is a good support system and processes in place to help you succeed.

This is a varied role which includes a range of responsibilities overseeing and managing purchasing within the business. Your role will include purchasing all our stock and following up on those orders and keeping track of stock levels. The stores will need to be your priority everyday, ensuring they are organised and neat.

Your duties will involve, but not be limited to:

· Ordering all stock (this includes manufacturing parts such electrical supplies, plumbing parts, fibreglass parts, consumables etc.) and maintaining suitable inventory levels.

· Sourcing alternative parts if the standard suppliers have no stock

· Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials

· Dealing with damaged stock/warranty claims

· Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.

· Managing stores, stores must always be kept neat and tidy

· Tracking orders, managing delivery delays, negotiating solutions with suppliers

· Sourcing or negotiating better pricing for parts

· Manage bill of materials

· Co-ordinating and ensuring company vehicles and equipment are maintained to requirements.

· Communicating and coordinating with other departments, suppliers, and customers

· Reporting any purchasing issues in our daily morning meetings

· Support the factory staff by providing feedback on their orders

· Daily check of stock and ensuring stock levels are maintained

You will have the following attributes and experience:

· Previous purchasing experience

· Strong communication skills

· High attention to detail

· Problem solving skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry

· Fluent in English, oral and written communication

· NZ residency
