Graduating in 2025? A place has opened up in our upcoming Graduate Programme intake, commencing February 2026. Additionally, we have two positions available for our Paid Summer Internship, also commencing in February. Both roles are suitable for individuals completing their engineering studies this semester or those who have recently graduated.

22 Degrees is a multi-service building services consulting firm based in Ponsonby developing designs and providing expert advice on systems and sustainability. In our 25th year, we work on projects in New Zealand and the Pacific and are highly regarded as a learning hub with extensive professional development programmes.

Our graduate programmes involve extensive training, mentoring and hands-on work across a broad range of disciplines (mechanical, hydraulics, electrical and fire protection) and projects. Along with technical skills we focus on developing a range of soft skills such as communication, negotiation, organisation, planning and leadership.

Our graduates are normally drawn from mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or architectural engineering degrees but the main requirements are a passion for learning, a curious nature, a love for problem solving and finding ingenious solutions. To excel in this field, being well organised with great attention to detail is critical as you will be juggling many requirements at pace.
