Join one of Otago's leading renewable energy companies delivering large-scale solar projects across the South Island. OPR Solar designs and builds premium solar systems for farms, businesses, and off-grid applications from 50 kW rooftops to multi-megawatt ground-mount arrays.

What you'll be doing:

  • Installing and wiring solar inverters, isolators, and switchboards
  • Running and terminating AC and DC cabling to NZ standards
  • Assisting with commissioning, testing, and system performance checks
  • Working independently and as part of a close-knit, skilled team

What we're looking for:

  • NZ Registered Electrician with a current practising licence
  • Experience in commercial or rural electrical work (solar experience a bonus)
  • Strong understanding of AS/NZS 3000 and 4777 standards
  • A positive attitude, good communication skills, and attention to detail
  • Full NZ driver's licence
