We're looking for an Intermediate Architectural Technician / Designer to join a skilled and collaborative team based in Mount Maunganui.

You'll contribute to residential projects across the country, taking concepts from initial sketches through to detailed consent documentation. Every day brings fresh variety and the opportunity to see your work come to life.

About the role

You'll be involved in all aspects of design and documentation, working closely with engineers, councils, and consultants to deliver practical, buildable, and creative design solutions.

What you'll bring

  • A qualification in Drafting, Architectural Technology, or equivalent
  • Minimum two years' experience in a similar New Zealand role
  • Strong proficiency in ArchiCAD
  • Solid understanding of NZS3604, NZ Building Code, and consent documentation
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive approach and genuine enthusiasm for quality residential design
