Our Trade part of the business includes the Drive Thru operation selling timber and building materials. We are looking for an exceptional individual who can share their knowledge and skills with our customers. This is a full-time role worked Sunday to Thursday (40hrs)

About the Role:

Reporting to the Dispatch Manager, you will be working with trade and retail customers to fill their building material orders. This will involve picking orders, using a forklift, loading customer orders and writing up yard dockets. This is a physical role which covers retail store drive thru.

You will need to provide excellent customer service, helping to solve their issues and provide the best advice on the use of building materials. You will keep a focus on health and safety, ensuring company health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a background in timber and building supplies
  • Analytical and has an eye for detail
  • Is customer driven and strives for excellence
  • Enjoys selling and interacting with people, and is down to earth
  • Current forklift license (F endorsed) or have a full NZ driver licence
  • Is physically fit
  • Loves DIY and enjoy sharing their knowledge with others
  • Health and Safety focused
