About the Role
We are seeking an effective Fleet Administrator to join our high-functioning and supportive Fleet administration team. This role will report to the Team Leader Fleet Waikato Hospital and support the wider Clinical and Operational Support Services team across the Waikato District Health Board.
Reporting to Team Lead Fleet, your role is accountable for providing superior Customer Service and day-to-day operational and administrative support to the Fleet team to assist the provision of high quality and efficient vehicle resources for the delivery of health care across the Waikato region. The role is primarily based at Waikato Hospital in Hamilton. However, occasional travel to or work from other sites may be required in exceptional circumstances. You will ensure all administrative activities are carried out promptly, effectively, accurately and efficiently at all times.

About you
- Brings over 3 years of experience in office or project administration, ideally within large, complex organisations.
- Known for handling customer service challenges with empathy and professionalism.
- Maintains strong organisation and attention to detail while managing competing priorities.
- Communicates confidently and collaborates effectively across teams.
- Tackles problems proactively with advanced critical thinking and initiative.
- Comfortable with technology, especially Microsoft Office, and uses data to drive improvement.
- Demonstrates integrity and accountability, consistently aligning actions with organisational values.

- Understands how individual contributions support team and organisational goals, and communicates this clearly.

About the Service
Clinical and Operational Support Services is made up of a variety of services, including Attendants (Orderlies), Biomedical Engineering (Medical Equipment), Nutrition and Food (patient meals, Meals on Wheels, Retail), Hospitality Support Services (Bryant Education Centre, Volunteers, Chaplains and Enquiries), Security and Parking, Laboratory, Pharmacy, Radiology, Outpatient Nursing, Waikato Hospital Administration and Design and Printing.
