About the Role
At Linda Jones Retirement Village in Hamilton we have an exciting opportunity to join our experienced team as a Maintenance Person. This is a Casual position.
In this role you will:
- Work in a team providing the village with an effective maintenance/preventative maintenance service ensuring the safety, repair and appearance of buildings, equipment, facilities and grounds
- Assist residents in their homes with repairs and maintenance
- Ensure that all health and safety policies are adhered to, to ensure the safety of residents, staff and visitors
- Work closely with and support your colleagues
About You
To thrive in our varied environment you will have:
- Previous experience in a Maintenance role, a trade qualification or just completed an apprenticeship
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude
- Proven customer service skills and ability to build rapport with residents
- Outstanding communication skills
- The ability to work in a team environment or autonomously as required
- Reliable, friendly and professional manner
