Job Description

Intermediate Full Stack Software Engineer

Role Context

As part of our engineering team, you will work on innovative projects that integrate renewable energy, battery storage, and real-time analytics. In this role, you will report to the Chief Technology Officer and will collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable software solutions that support our cutting-edge energy management systems.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Stack Development:

  • Develop and maintain web applications using React, and Python.
  • Integrate with RESTful APIs and external data sources.

Feature Implementation:

  • Collaborate with the product and design teams to build new features and improve existing functionality.
  • Ensure the development of clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Quality Assurance:

  • Participate in code reviews and testing processes to maintain high quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.

Collaboration & Agile Practices:

  • Work within an agile development environment, contributing to sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
  • Engage in continuous learning and skill development to keep up with evolving technologies.

Bonus Responsibilities (Machine Learning, Data Science, and Python):

  • Bring your experience with machine learning, data science, and Python to help design and implement revolutionary AI functionality that will shape the future of our energy management platform.
  • Leverage Python for automation tasks, data processing, or building backend services when applicable.
  • While existing experience in AI/ML and data science is a bonus, a keen enthusiasm to learn, innovate, and grow in these areas is essential.
Key Requirements & Skills

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in React for building dynamic user interfaces.
  • Strong experience with for server-side development.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/ES6+).
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python, with exposure to machine learning and data science concepts.

Development Practices:

  • Understanding of agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing is a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced setting.
