Fitter / Welder

Our client is looking for experienced and reliable fitters / welders to join their team ASAP. Please note that this role is ongoing work and only 1 day a week (Saturday)

Role Overview

• Takanini, Auckland
• Saturday only (1-day work per week)
• $35 per hour
• 5am to 5pm - some days you could finish early if job is completed for the day
• Start ASAP
• Last working day before shut down period: Saturday 20th December 2025
• Return to work: Saturday 10th January 2026

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform welding, cutting and fabrication tasks on machinery & equipment
• Carry out general maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting of feedmill machinery
• Assemble and install machine guards, frames and other structural components
• Inspect and ensure machinery is safe and operational
• Read and interpret work instructions
• Work safely around moving machinery and adhere to all health & safety protocols

To Be Considered, You Must

• Have proven welding / fitting experience
• Pass a pre-employment drug test
• Return a clean MOJ
• Have reliable transport
• MIG / TIG tickets are favourable but not essential
