About Us
Matamata Country Club is currently building a luxury retirement village featuring 130 independent villas, beautiful communal facilities, and inviting spaces for residents to truly enjoy their retirement years.
We're looking for a motivated Labourer who's keen to get stuck in and support our busy construction team as we bring this vision to life.
About the Role
We're after an all-rounder with proven experience in construction and a strong focus on safety. You'll be part of a hands-on team where every day is different, and your contribution helps keep the site running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised worksite
- Ensure houses are tidy, swept, and ready for final inspection
- Assist with fencing, trenching, and general labouring duties
- Provide support across the site wherever needed
The tasks will vary depending on the stage of construction, but your role will always be an essential part of the team's success.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds a current NZ driver's licence (Class 2 and WTR endorsements are a bonus)
- Is fit, reliable, and safety-focused
- Has an eye for detail and takes pride in their work
- Enjoys a variety of tasks and working outdoors
- Is a permanent NZ resident
