Grill Chef

Love a good work/life balance? And being by the beach? The Botanist is an award winning cafe by day, restaurant by night, right on Lyall Bay beach. We are looking for an experienced chef to join our awesome kitchen team, in particular weekend brunch chefs.

The ideal applicant will have strong communication skills, experience in a busy kitchen, and be able to plate consistently and quickly, in particular for brunch items.

There is scope for creativity and input to the menu that changes seasonally, and the potential for career progression within the company for the right person.

We are looking for someone that is already on their way to Wellington or already here, sponsorship could be an option as we have a spare token, but only if you are able to interview in person.
