What is the role?

As our IT Support & Data Analyst, you'll be tasked with supporting the MMNZ IT Infrastructure to deliver a stable, reliable and secure server and infrastructure application system. This is a unique role that provides 1st and 2nd level infrastructure/engineering support, troubleshooting, training and planned work in a hand's-on manner across the company. The IT Support & Data Analyst will also contribute to projects and liaise with external contractors and 3rd parties as required.

We're seeking a new team member who is confident in;

  • Respond promptly to IT support tickets and resolve end-user issues to maintain business continuity.
  • Provide Level 1 & 2 support for hardware, software, printers, scanners, AV, and mobile devices.
  • Support Windows 10/11 desktops, Microsoft 365 applications, and standard MMNZ software.
  • Escalate complex issues (Level 3 or vendor support) appropriately.
  • Provide remote support and proactive user guidance to improve digital adoption.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and security in Active Directory and Azure AD.
  • Administer Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and Exchange Online.
  • Manage Microsoft Intune MDM, Teams, and SharePoint environments.
  • Support phone and network connectivity and maintain related documentation.
  • Extract and clean raw data from core business systems (ERP, CRM, Warehouse, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to support operational and management reporting.
  • Work with business units to understand data requirements and provide insights from existing systems.
  • Identify data quality issues and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve them.
  • Automate data refresh and report distribution processes where feasible
  • Support Windows Server environments, applying patches and monitoring backups.
  • Monitor and maintain VMWare systems and ensure server health reporting.
  • Deploy Windows updates and ensure device security compliance through Intune.
  • Assist with device imaging, setup, and lifecycle management.
  • Maintain detailed IT documentation, including infrastructure diagrams, user guides, and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain the Service Desk knowledge base and Power BI dataset documentation.
  • Create and update training materials for staff as new tools or reports are deployed.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with MMNZ staff, vendors, and partners.
  • Participate in IT and business projects, providing analytical or technical input as required.
  • Communicate effectively with business stakeholders on both technical and data matters.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for system and process automation.
  • Recommend improvements in IT operations and reporting efficiency.
  • Stay current with new technologies in IT support and business intelligence.
  • Some out of hours and/or on call work may be required from time to time.
