Digital Marketing Coordinator – Google Ads, Meta Ads & SEO

Part-time | Flexible hours | Based in Sockburn, Christchurch

We're looking for a passionate and personable Digital Marketer to join our team.

As one of New Zealand's largest baby and toy product wholesalers, we proudly distribute many well-known international and local brands. With a wide range of products and multiple online channels, every day in our business is varied, creative, and rewarding.

About the Role

We're looking for an Intermediate-level Digital Marketer to take ownership of our paid advertising and SEOacross multiple brands and websites.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimising our Google Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Ads, and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) to drive engagement, sales, and brand awareness.

This is a newly created position, allowing paid advertising to be separated from organic content creation. Google Ads and Meta Ads will be held by the new role, while our Social Media Coordinator handles content creation and socials.

You'll also have the opportunity to be involved in our consumer Baby Shows throughout New Zealand (around seven per year). Attending one or two of these events is optional, but a fantastic way to connect with parents and gain deeper product knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and optimise Google Ads campaigns across multiple websites.
  • Create and manage Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram), ensuring strong return on investment.
  • Develop SEO strategies to improve organic visibility and site performance.
  • Write effective advert copy and collaborate with the Social Media Coordinator on creative assets.
  • Monitor analytics and report on campaign performance and key metrics.
  • Stay up to date with digital marketing trends and competitor activity.
  • Contribute ideas to improve brand presence and online conversion rates.

The successful candidate's skills:

  • Strong understanding of Google Ads, Meta Ads, and SEO best practices.
  • Experience managing multi-channel ad budgets with return on investment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong content and copywriting ability.
  • A creative, analytical, and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team.
  • A proactive attitude with great time management and organisation.
  • Passion for the baby and parenting market is a big plus

Location: Sockburn, Christchurch

Hours: Suggested hours are 20–30 per week, but we are flexible for the right candidate
