*Key Responsibilities:*
- Carry out framing, formwork and general structural carpentry
- Install doors, windows, skirting, flooring and cabinetry
- Read and interpret construction drawings and plans
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools and machinery
- Complete repairs, alterations and finishing work to a high standard
- Ensure all work complies with building codes, plans and safety requirements
- Work collaboratively with other trades and site supervisors
Requirements:
- Previous experience in carpentry or relevant trade qualification
- Strong practical skills and ability to use hand and power tools
- Reliable, hardworking and safety conscious
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Valid work visa for New Zealand
- Own tools & transport
