The Role

At Turbo Staff, we're all about hard work, reliability, and teamwork. Right now, we're looking for Carpenter who are eager to start work on long term projects across the residential, commercial, construction sectors.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a busy, supportive team where you'll gain hands-on experience, work on exciting projects, and learn from highly skilled professionals. The role involves providing high-quality trade skills and knowledge across a wide range of carpentry and construction tasks, with a strong focus on aluminium and window installation work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications to determine materials, dimensions, and installation procedures.
  • Cut, shape, and assemble wood and aluminium components with precision.
  • Installing and fits windows, doors, cladding, fascia, and associated fittings.
  • Erecting frameworks, roof framing, sub-flooring, and floorboards, ensuring trueness and correct alignment.
  • Installing glass and mirrors in windows, skylights, doors, interior partitions, and display areas.

Requirements:

  • A 3+ years of experience as a Carpenter, specialising in aluminium and window installation.
  • High attention to detail, solid problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and high quality of work
  • Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour in a variety of weather conditions
  • Comfortable working at heights and ensuring quality, precise installations.
