A Cheng Plumbing Ltd is a construction company in Auckland, and we specialized in plumbing-related construction work. We now need two plumbers. This is a full-time position, with 30 guaranteed hours of work every week, but normally we should have around 40 hours workload for you.

The tasks of this role include:

  • Interpreting blueprints, drawings and specifications for pipe construction, and determining the layout of plumbing systems and materials required
  • setting out and installing hot and cold water systems and associated equipment
  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing water, sanitation, drainage and other system
  • designing and installing sanitary plumbing and water supply systems, discharge pipes and sanitary fixtures
  • fabricating and installing soil and waste stacks
  • installing sewerage and effluent pumping equipment and disposal systems
  • installing below-ground drainage systems and associated ground support systems
  • Maybe required to drive digger when necessary
  • Perform other reasonable tasks as requested by management

Requirement for this role

  • At least 2 years of work experience in construction, or construction-related diploma, or Bachelor's degree in any major

  • Be puncture and responsible

  • Be hardworking and you will earn in proportion to your diligence

  • Be able to work both as a team and independently

  • Can arrange own transportation
