Our client is looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer to join their dynamic data team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building scalable data pipelines and transforming raw data into actionable insights.

  • Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines using DBT and Fivetran.
  • Develop and optimise data workflows in Databricks.
  • Manage and scale data infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security across all platforms.
  • Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer in cloud-based environments.
  • Strong proficiency with DBT for data transformation and modelling.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake).
  • Solid understanding of GCP services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, etc.).
  • Experience with Fivetran for data ingestion and integration.
  • Proficient in SQL and Python.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and version control (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
