Alltech Diesel & Turbocharger is New Zealand's Distributors and service agents for Bosch Delphi Denso Stanadyne Garrett BorgWarner Holset MHI and IHI.

We're looking for a Diesel Fuel Injection and Turbo Mechanic / Technician to join our team in Glenfield, Auckland.

Responsibilities include:

  • Read and understand all job cards, instructions and specifications and query immediately where not sure.
  • Plan each job procedure and methods to ensure most efficient use of time and equipment.
  • Carry out all service and repair work to the highest level of quality and finish
  • Follow all Safety and OSH procedures at all times and identify hazards as they occur. Assist / remind other staff to provide a safe workplace.
  • Ensure all work is completed on time and within hours allocated to job.
  • Ensure all job cards, time sheets and paperwork is completed correctly and on time.
  • Be familiar with and follow all internal processes as laid out in the Alltech "procedures manual"
  • Ensure any customer's site or roadside work is carried out efficiently and tidily.
  • When in contact with clients or their staff / premises, ensure Alltech's reputation is kept up by proper conduct, tidy work, polite manners, and professional work-wear and cleanliness.
  • Contribute to the quality of work produced by all other workers.
  • Work in with other staff to form a happy positive and co-operative workplace team.
  • Housekeeping, tidiness & Security are maintained at a high level

Our successful applicant will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years industry experience in the repair and servicing of all types of fuel injection equipment
  • A genuine passion for cars and the automotive industry
  • Clear and fluent communication skills
  • An honest and punctual work ethic
  • A positive and hard-working attitude, fueled by an insatiable desire to learn
