The Opportunity
- Operate motorised sweepers to maintain clean footpaths, carparks, and public spaces.
- Carry out daily equipment checks, basic maintenance, and safe operation practices.
- Support wider city cleaning tasks, including debris removal and bin servicing.

About You
- Experience in manual labour or outdoor maintenance, with confidence operating mechanical or automotive equipment.
- A full driver's licence, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently in all weather conditions.
- Good communication skills, a respectful approach when interacting with the public, and a commitment to safety.
- Reliability, physical fitness, and pride in delivering consistently high standards of cleanliness.

This is a permanent, full time opportunity working 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You will be based out of our operational site in Onekawa, but spend most of your time working across Napier's public spaces.
The hourly rate for this role is between $29.50-$32 (plus KiwiSaver if eligible), with the final offer depending on your skills and experience.
