Courier Driver – Porirua / Wellington Region (2 Positions Available)
We are looking for two hardworking and reliable Courier Drivers to handle rural and urban deliveries across Porirua and the wider Wellington region. This is a physically demanding role with early morning starts, and weekend work is required.
This role requires a high level of dependability, as you will be responsible for delivering parcels safely and on time while maintaining excellent customer service and meeting strict safety and performance standards.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Pick up, load, and deliver parcels across assigned rural and urban routes
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries and collections
- Safely operate a company vehicle in all weather conditions
- Scan, record, and complete delivery documentation accurately
- Handle parcels safely, including lifting items up to 25kg
- Provide professional and friendly customer service
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and delivery schedules
Requirements:
- Full NZ driver's licence (manual preferred)
- Physically fit – able to lift up to 25kg regularly
- Available to work weekends
- Able to work long hours independently
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Must pass a police check and drug test
- Previous courier or logistics experience preferred but not essential
