Senior Full-Stack Developer (.NET & React) - Contract Opportunity - Auckland Hybrid

Join a leading enterprise actively modernising large-scale applications and developing advanced cloud solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Developer to join an exceptional development team on a contract basis, contributing immediately to high-impact, critical projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an expert in modern .NET and React who thrives in complex, high-volume environments.

Driving Technical Solutions

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with architecture and product teams to design, estimate, and build scalable, cloud-native applications. This full-stack contract role emphasizes developing resilient backend services and seamlessly integrating them with the front-end using React.

  • Design & Delivery: Lead the technical design and delivery of robust, scalable cloud solutions.
  • API Specialist: Develop and maintain high-performance APIs for enterprise-level applications.
  • Cloud Focus: Utilise expertise in Azure serverless technologies to build and deploy solutions.

Key Requirements

  • Backend Mastery: Strong proficiency in .NET (.NET Core, ASP.NET, C#).
  • Front-End Skills: Hands-on commercial experience with React (or a similar modern JavaScript framework).
  • Cloud Architecture: Expertise in Azure serverless and cloud services (e.g., Azure Functions, App Services).
  • API Development: Proven mastery of API development and integration, including RESTful APIs and Web API.
  • DevOps: Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, and cloud deployment best practices.

Desirable Skills

  • Commercial experience implementing and consuming GraphQL (e.g., Apollo, Hot Chocolate).
  • Demonstrated experience in designing comprehensive full-stack solutions (backend and frontend) or intricate microservices architectures.
  • Proven ability to work effectively on applications handling high transactional volumes.

Location & Engagement

  • Location: Auckland (Hybrid - required in the office 3 days).
  • Engagement: Contract.
  • Projects: Focus on large-scale enterprise application modernisation.
