Cleaner Supervisor

Position Overview:

We are seeking motivated and fit cleaners with experience in the cleaning industry. The role involves a variety of cleaning tasks in different locations around Queenstown, including homes and offices. We need team members who can work efficiently, follow health and safety protocols, and maintain our high standards in every job. The job provides minimum 30 hours per week and pay rate between $27 - $30 per hour depending on the candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Lead on site, set the pace, allocate tasks, and ensure checklists are 100 percent complete
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and office spaces.
• Handle cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.
• Ensure all work is completed within scheduled timeframes.
• Report any issues or hazards encountered on the job.

Requirements:

• 6 months of cleaning experience preferred.
• Physically fit to handle the demands of the role.
• A valid driver's license to travel between job sites.
• Clean criminal record (background checks will be conducted).
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Good time management skills.
• Able to work on weekends, public holidays, day and night shifts.
• Previous team lead or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Physically fit and comfortable working at pace.
