The opportunity

Queenstown Electric Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced NZ/Aus registered Electrician to join our team in sunny Queenstown, Otago. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for an electrician looking to start the new year in one of New Zealand's most beautiful and vibrant cities. We also have opportunities to learn and grow with Solar if this interests you.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of electrical installation, maintenance and repair work for residential, commercial and industrial clients
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, providing expert solutions
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards
  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with the wider team to deliver exceptional project outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest electrical practices, technologies and regulations

What we're looking for

  • Current NZ/Aus electrician registration and licence
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified electrician
  • Strong technical skills and practical problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of work
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Enthusiasm for working in the vibrant Queenstown community
