Cambridge Mitre 10 Mega is proud to be 100% Kiwi owned and operated. We are looking to boost our Trade Team and seeking a positive and enthusiastic Trade Team Member who recognises the importance of providing outstanding customer service to our Trade and DIY customers.

Reporting to the Trade Manager, you will be working with trade and retail customers to fulfil their building material orders. This will involve picking orders, using a forklift and front end loader, loading customer orders, and writing up yard dockets.

This is a physical role which covers our outside yard, retail store and drive thru. You will need to provide excellent customer service, helping to solve their issues and provide the best advice on the use of building materials. You will keep a focus on health and safety, ensuring company health and safety procedures are followed at all times.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Preferably has a background in the building supplies/ timber
    business, however full training will be provided,
  • Can deliver exceptional customer service,
  • Has the willingness to learn and a drive to achieve,
  • Honesty, integrity and a commitment to deliver what you promise,
  • A friendly, energetic and positive personality,
  • Is physically fit, able to lift heavy weights and able to be on their feet the majority of the day
  • Basic computer knowledge and attention to detail
  • Has an outstanding work ethic & is a team player,
  • Currently holds a valid and current full NZ Drivers Licence
  • A current forklift OSH is favourable, however for the right candidate this can be negotiated

This is a Full-Time role with a minimum of 36 hours per week, across Fri, Sat, Sun and Monday. These hours will be determined by a roster and may include public holiday days.
